Coushatta Casino Resort

Kinder, Louisiana · Official website

Coushatta is where Bets & Bites started, and it’s still the casino we go back to most. This page collects everything we’ve done there: Bite Scores for the restaurants we’ve tried, the slot sessions we’ve filmed, and tips for planning a trip.

Every restaurant we’ve reviewed here gets a Bite Score, so you can see at a glance where to spend your dinner money (or your comp points).

Our sessions here are listed below as we upload them, newest first.

Bringing the kids: Kids Quest and Cyber Quest

Coushatta is one of the few casinos around here where a family trip actually works, because it has two spaces just for kids.

Cyber Quest, the family arcade at Coushatta.

Kids Quest is hourly, drop-in childcare for kids from 6 weeks to 12 years old. You don’t need a reservation. It’s priced by the hour, with a slightly higher rate for the littlest ones (under about two and a half).

Cyber Quest is the arcade next door: ticket games, redemption prizes and video games, all non-violent. Kids under 13 have to be with an adult 18 or older. Teens 13 and up can play on their own.

Hours change with the seasons and holidays (summer and weekend hours run later), so check Coushatta’s Kids Quest page or call ahead before you plan around it.
